Boho Berry UnBoxing!

I got my Boho Berry Box today and couldn’t wait to unbox it!  Unlike my other subscriptions I don’t typically see “sneak peeks” on social media so it’s seriously a complete surprise when I get it and I LOVE that!

There was a wide variety of items in this month’s box, but what peaked my curiosity most was the Faber-Castell Gelatos!

At first I thought they were some sort of chapsticks, but I’m certainly glad I didn’t try that theory before I looked them up! They’re some sort of special crayon called a “pigment stick” and you can use them dry or add water for a watercolor effect!

I’m going to need to figure these bad boys out, so I ordered a beginner’s mixed media kit off of Amazon to give it a try! Because it’s winter and I’m sick of cold and rain, I chose the tropical kit. So sue me 😉 (https://amzn.to/2BGyb9t)

Y’all know I love color, so I can’t wait to try these out for addition to my memory keeping/scrapbooking stuff! <3 Check back once I try them out for either some entertaining failures or scrapbooking wins!!

STUFF I LOVE!!!!

Someone slap me already…

Sometimes I get all crazy and decide to go full blown “Pinterest Mom”… this usually results in stupid consequences like spending $60 on stickers and die cuts and blank cards and envelopes so I can make cute little handmade Valentine’s Day cards for my kids classmates.

Cards that I spend hours making even though I’ve procrastinated until close to the last minute because lazy mom overpowers Pinterest mom and I have to talk myself into doing it.

Cards that I then realize these kids don’t give a crap about and will end up going straight in the trash in favor of some sort of candy.

I just wasted 3.5 hours of my life I’ll never get back, y’all….

🙂 🤦‍♀️😂

What What???

Not just ONE unboxing but TWO?

While I was waiting for my voice to clear up a bit to try this video thing out I ended up getting my Simply Gilded sub box in the mail today too, so I made that my (rather lame) debut into the video world before I hit the Boho Berry Box! LOL!

Forwarning – It is obviously going to take some trial and error before I figure out this whole tripod thing, and I don’t have the fancy manicured nails that all these “professional un-boxers” have so you’re going to have to bear with me and all my unpolished glory!

So that went poorly, but I didn’t let that stop me, I just went straight into my Boho Berry Box Unboxing, which I was totally excited about since this is my FIRST box from them and I literally subscribed on a whim without having any idea about what came inside apart from some planner goodies.  It’s called impulse shopping, it’s good for the soul.

PS- Use coupon code B4A5 for $5 your FIRST Boho Berry Purchase!!!  <3

I’m the Mom. Just assume I’m never wrong.

Why “work” when you can play with me??? — The BiscuitDog aka “NerdDog”

Today was rather uneventful but I did make myself feel like a badass by taking the kids out of the house BY MYSELF.  If you’re a mom of multiples you know how daunting this is. And…… AND….. I took them to lunch too.  Granted, it was McAllister’s, and not somewhere more fancy, but NO ONE DIED y’all, and that is YUGE!  Even more huge than THAT?  The four year old actually ate something.  Badass.  It’s now my middle name.

I also took them to Home Goods, which almost broke the “No One Died” streak as my daughter kept asking for another “stuffy” to add to her collection of almost seven thousand stuffed animals, but we made it through and actually relatively cheaply considering my love affair with Home Goods….

After Daddy got home we took the kids to Michael’s (the sticker store in four year old vocab) where somehow I got talking into hand-making valentine’s cards for all the little toddler terrorist’s friends.  *sigh*  SUCH a sucker, especially for crafty things.

Back home to my MOST DREADED CHORE – folding hubby’s undershirts.  I HATE folding the whites.  It’s better now that he wears dark colored socks and not white ones, but those damn undershirts are ALWAYS inside out, never fold correctly, and I just hate it.  Bleh. Go naked.  Seriously…..
